ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has allowed the export of onions to India.In accordance with the approval to the summary sent by the Ministry of Commerce, Gilani permitted the export of onions to India under a letter of credit.
During a meeting held on January 10, the prime minister’s approval was sought for exporting onion to India under the agreements signed with Indian importers in line with the letter of credit.
Following Gilani’s approval, trucks loaded with onion currently stationed at Wahga Border will be able to move to India.
