LSE makes marginal gains

LAHORE – The Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) closed in green with a decline in the volume on Tuesday. The LSE 25-shares added 15.17 points to close at 3,780.15 against its opening at 3,766.54 levels. Out of 128 active scrips, 27 went up, 37 went down and 64 closed without any change in their opening values. The volume of the market remained 6.05 million shares, which was 7.04 million shares less than Monday’s turnover of 13.09 million shares.
Silk Bank remained the volume leader with 1.01 million shares turnover but it also lost Rs 0.15 to close at Rs 2.79 against its opening at Rs 2.94. Lotte Pakistan PTA was the second volume leader with 0.91 million shares turnover and it lost Rs 0.16 to close at Rs 14.50 against its opening at Rs 14.66. Attock Refinery was the major gainer and it added Rs 5.12 to close at Rs 135.65 against its opening at Rs 130.53. OGDCL was the major loser and it declined by Rs 4.19 to close at Rs 174.12 against its opening at Rs 178.31.
