CM’s adviser demands varsity campus in Shikarpur

KARACHI – Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Tourism, PML-F’s Imtiaz Sheikh on Tuesday demanded the provincial government to immediately implement the directives of President Asif Ali Zardari and establish the Shah Latif University, Sheikh Ayaz Campus in Shikarpur.
In a letter written to the provincial chief minister, he said the president had directed the Sindh government to establish the campus in Shikarpur but despite the passage of eight months, the government still has not taken any practical steps.
“Two major buildings, actually built for the C&S Government Degree College are not in use and can be utilised for establishing the new campus,” stated Sheikh.
He said the federal education minister and Sindh governor had supported the establishment of Sheikh Ayaz Campus and the people of Shikarpur were waiting for the good news.
