LAHORE – The Phase-III competitions of the Chief Minister’s Cup are in progress at different venues and will continue till January 18.
In all, nine different divisional teams are participating in the inter school competitions which includes Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sahiwal, Sargodha and DG Khan.
A meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Director General Sports Punjab Salman Ijaz to check the arrangements of the events.
The meeting was attended by DSP Security Branch, Fiaz Ahmed, DDO Health Dr Noman Ullah Khan and Secretaries of respective associations.
The purpose of the meeting was to ensure foolproof security for the players and make other arrangements.
In the third phase of the Chief Minister’s Cup, the school boys teams will participate in football, volleyball, athletics and badminton events
whereas the school girls teams will
play badminton, volleyball and
athletics events.
