QUETTA – A 10-points-agenda was developed by the Political Parties Coordination Committee (PPCC) Balochistan to condemn the military operation in Balochistan, killing of missing people, assassination and kidnapping, Acting President Balochistan National Party Dr Jahanziab Jamaldini said while talking to reporters in Quetta Press club on Tuesday.
PPCC, comprising 10 political and religious parties including Balochistan National Party, Pashtookkhowa Milli Awami Party, National Party, Jamaat Islami, Tehrik-e-Insaf, Awami National Party and Hazara Democratic Party, was formed to launch a joint struggle to solve the issues of the province and exert pressure on government to fulfill its responsibly.
“All parties decided in the recent conference to mobilize the masses to force the government into solving the issues of the province,” Dr Jahanziab Jamaldini said.
He said PPCC had expressed serious concern over alleged military operation, assassinations, suicide attacks, inflation, corruption and incidents of kidnapping for ransom in the province and termed them a conspiracy against the Balochis and the Pakhtoons.
BNP leader said that Frontier Corps was violating the sanctity of chadir and chardiwari in the name of search and had established bunkers across the province while the crime rate in the province was on the rise, adding that continuous incidents of highway robberies and kidnapping for ransom had made the life of people difficult and businesses had also been affected.
He said that Balochistan was passing through a critical phase and some elements were trying to create differences amongst various ethnic groups in the name of religion.
