KARACHI – A meeting of the National Educational Conference Sindh chapter was held on Monday at the Sindh Madressatul Islam (SMI) College under the chairmanship of its principal Dr Muhammad Ali Sheikh.
The meeting reviewed the preparatory arrangements for the conference.Addressing the meeting, Sheikh said the conference, scheduled to be held from January 21 to 28 in Islamabad, is being organised after many years. The SMI College also announced that its 12-member delegation would attend the conference.
The meeting was attended by Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Centre of Excellence in Arts and Design Director Bhai Khan Shar, Dawood College of Engineering and Technology QEC Director Engineer Shahab Afroz, University of Sindh Centre of Excellence in Analytical Chemistry Dr Iqbal Bangash, University of Karachi Centre of Excellence in Marine Biology Dr Pirzada Jamal Ahmed Siddiqui, University of Sindh Area Study Centre for Far East and South Asia Dr Parveen Shah, University of Karachi Area Study Centre for Europe Kamal Ahmed and University of Karachi Sheikh Zayed Islamic Centre Dr Noor Ahmed Shahtaz.
