LAHORE – Two dead bodies were in Ghari Shahu and Faisal Town area of Lahore on Monday. According to details, people in Garhi Shahu informed the police that a man was lying unmoved on the road, upon reaching police found the man was dead. Police made the announcement about the body in various mosques of the area but no one came to identify the body.
The body was shifted to the morgue for an autopsy. Police speculated that the man was died due to cold because he was wearing no warm clothing. In Akbar Chowk people spotted a bag in the drain and informed the police about it. Police found the body of a newly born baby in the bag. Later, the body was handed over to the Edhi officials for burial.
Car kills motorcyclist: A motorcyclist was killed by a motorist near Bubatya Chowk, Defense Road on Monday, as the car hit him from rear side and ran over him. Car driver fled from the scene. The motorcyclist, yet to be identified, was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to injuries. The body was shifted to the morgue for an autopsy.
