LAHORE – Finance, Planning and Development Provincial Minister Tanvir Ashraf Kaira has said that the telephonic contact between Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Nawaz Sharif would bring political stability. He said this when he was talking to a delegation of MPAs at his office here on Monday. He said that Pakistan People’s Party-led federal government’s reconciliation policy would be maintained and the political fog would disappear from the political scene of the country owing to the PM’s present move.
He added that both leaders have unanimous stance on national issues which is a great achievement of the country’s political leadership. It was the high time for all political forces to prefer national issues on personal issues, he said adding that PPP would further strengthen the reconciliation process with the help of PML-N because political stability was directly related to economic stability. He further said that PM has ended the rumors by giving positive answer to the PML-N’s demands and now the leadership would take solid steps to resolve the important national issues with the help of other political parties.
