LAHORE – A training workshop on “Media Management and Effective Communication for Livestock Extension Services” was held in Islamabad the other day, said a press release issued here on Monday.
The three days workshop continued from December 30th 2010 to January 1st 2011. The organisers included the Punjab Livestock and Dairy Development Department and the National Rural Support Programme (NRSP).
“The objective of the event was to train and capacity building of professionals and districts officers in reference of media management skills, communication process and its role, application of media types and other communication sources in Livestock Department for Livestock Extension Services. The 36 participants were trained on rich and fruitful modules based on communication and management skills by experienced trainers from the faculty of the Livestock & Dairy Development Department”, the statement added.
