Rapper and part-time actor Eminem is set to channel his anger into a new crime thriller. The ‘Love The Way You Lie’ hitmaker will star as an ex-con who faces a personal struggle to stay out of trouble in ‘Random Acts of Violence’. Eminem’s Shady Films is also attached to produce the project and filmmaker David Von Ancken will direct, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The hip-hop star is also set to punch his way onto the big screen in ‘Southpaw’, in which he will play an up-and-coming boxer whose road to success hits a stumbling block when he is faced by a personal tragedy. He made his acting debut in 2002’s semi-autobiographical film, ‘8 Mile’.
