LAHORE – Kalakot routed Daryabad 4-0 in their Group-C tie as the PFF-KESC Lyari Football League 2011 exploded into action at Karachi’s Peoples Sports
Complex. Kalakot gave no room to the depleted Daryabad and struck three
goals through their spearhead Asif Nawaz in the 21st, 49th and 59th minute.
Winger Muhammad Shahbaz rounded off the tally with a 45th minute strike.
The event was inaugurated by the Sindh Sports Secretary Sohaib Siddiqui, who praised the efforts of PFF and KESC for launching an event for Lyari.
“It is important to encourage and support the talent pool of players in Lyari. There is huge potential in Lyarities.” Sohaib also congratulated Faisal Saleh Hayat for becoming the first Pakistani ever to have been elected to the AFC Executive Committee.
