LAHORE – The National Junior, Sub Junior and Youth Weightlifting Championships will be held from February 16 to 19 here at Punjab University Grounds Weightlifting Center near Chauburji.
According to secretary Pakistan Weightlifting Federation Hafiz Imran Butt, the players born in 1991 or latter will be eligible to participate in the junior competitions while the players born in 1994 or later will be eligible for the sub junior competitions and the players born in 1996 or later will be eligible for the youth competitions.
He said that the deadline for sending entries was February 10 and scrutiny would be held on February 11 and 12 at the venue. He said that all the affiliated units of the PWLF have been asked comply with the given date for entries.
