Dr Ajmal Khan, the Vice Chancellor of the Islamia College University in Peshawar, was kidnapped from his campus residence on 7th September. On 7th October a video of him was released by the Taliban in which it showed that Dr Khan was appealing to the government to negotiate his release with members of the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan. It has been four months since the government has been unable to recover the Vice Chancellor. Is this a forgotten case or is our government ignoring his appeal? As a citizen of Pakistan, I appeal to the government to help the vice chancellor of the Islamia College University and quick action should be taken.
