ANP leader gunned down

PESHAWAR – Unidentified attackers on Thursday gunned down Awami National Party’s KP Information Secretary Jahar Hoti.
Reportedly, Hoti was going to participate in a jirga for reconciliation with the opponents of his brother when the killers attacked his car on Muhab Road at Parhoti. According to DPO Waqif Khan, the police are investigating the case and will reach the criminals soon. One of has close relatives said he had no enmity with anyone. Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Amir Haider Hoti expressed deep concern over his killing and called it a great tragedy and an irreparable loss to the party. “He was my close friend and I can forget him,” the chief minister said.
SECURITY GUARD INJURED AS BOMB EXPLODES: A security guard of a five-star hotel was injured when a planted bomb exploded on Thursday morning. Ameer son of Zafar was injured when a planted bomb exploded at Hassan Garhi, outside the Peshawar city. According to the police, the bomb had been planted in the ground were children were playing.
