LAHORE – Former foreign minister and PML-Q (Likeminded) leader Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri while condemning the assassination of Punjab Governor Salman Taseer has urged the nation to rise above the sectarian divide to save the country from extremism.
Kasuri on Wednesday said the brutal killing of governor was a question mark over the change in society’s ‘mindset’ towards ‘fanaticism’. “If the spread of extremism was not checked sooner, it could be a ‘societal disaster,’ he warned.
