Motorway police grab hold of criminals

LAHORE – National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) N-5 Central on Thursday claimed to have arrested 13 people involved in different criminal activities and have seized liquor, cash, vehicles, arms and ammunition and Pakistan Railway’s eclectic wire.
NH&MP also helped three children; Arsalan, Jahangir and Sadia, to reunite with their aggrieved families in different events in last few days. NH&MP arrested 13 criminals including Javed, M Taj, Ulfat, Muhammed Akram, Ibrar Saleem, M Rizwan, Maqsood Ahmed, M Temoor, Zafar Ali, Tahir, Nadeem, Jamil and Ahmed Din, and recovered 11 bottles of liquor, two pistols, two cars, an oil tanker, two trailers and more than Rs 50,000 as cash.
NH&MP has also recovered Pakistan Railway owned wire from their custody. On the directions of NH&MP N-5 Central DIG Syed Ibne Hussain, recovered items along with arrested culprits were handed over to the local police for further legal action. NH&MP IG Dr Wasim Kausar appreciated the efforts of patrolling officers and advised them to work diligently to uphold the department’s image.
