PESHAWAR – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, upon Syed Qalab Hussain’s request on Wednesday, prayed for the late governor Punjab Salman Taseer, assassinated by his own security guard Malik Hussain Qadari at Kohsar Market on Tuesday.
A condolence resolution, moved by Saqibullah Chamkani, terming Qadari’s act ‘extremism’, was also passed unanimously.

He said that ANP will support the PPP government till the end. “We will support PPP government till they leave us” he said, adding the present situation of the country did not allow mid term election and the government should complete its tenure.
