Female suicide bomber

If we analyse the security position since 2006, there have been a total of 250 suicide blasts in Pakistan. The maximum have taken place in the province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The suicide attacks have been controlled somewhat in the year 2010.

The most recent suicide attack in the Bajaur Agency marks a new trend. It raises many eyebrows. For the first time, the female sex is the guilty party. A female suicide bomber detonated the blast when the security officials were stepping forward to shoot her down. She took her life and of 46 other people.

I write this letter to urge the authorities to take notice of changing trends in militant strategies. It is important that we dismantle these strategies to protect national security.
