Dev Anand gets Hollywood help

Barry Sandrew, the founder of Legend films that specializes in coloring few of the best Hollywood black and white films is very impressed by Dev Anand’s classic ‘Hum Dono’.
Legend films has colored the black and white version of film ‘Hum Dono’ with the most advanced technology in US. The film has been colored using 65,000 colors while ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ and ‘Naya Daur’ had used the color scheme of 16 and 32 colors respectively. Legend films have colorized films like ‘Holiday Inn’, ‘Reefer Madness’, ‘Plan 9 from Outer Space’, ‘Forbidden Zone’, ‘Night of the Living Dead’ and many others.
Barry says, “I saw the film and was really impressed. Dev is truly a living legend. I loved the film and must say that the colored version has been enhanced a lot in quality and am sure will be a treat for his fans.
They would love the film on big screen. It is looking spectacular. In fact, the 3D process is currently being considered for the conversion of ‘Hum Dono Rangeen’, which will further enhance the value of this invaluable Bollywood classic, giving it new life for future generations of audiences.”
