LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has approved a supplementary grant of Rs 70 million during the current fiscal year 2010-11 for completion of establishment of Punjab University, Jehlum campus.
The expenditure will be incurred on completing the remaining construction work of the PU Jhelum campus after approval of feasibility report, issuance of administrative approval by the competent authority in addition to observance of all codal formalities, so that imparting of higher education is taken in hand with effect from the next academic session i.e. September 2011.
