ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf on Monday demanded that the government would give the date for new polls after its two coalition partners, Muttahida Quami Movement and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal had left the coalition.
PTI leader Umar Sarfaraz Cheema told Pakistan Today that the country could only be pulled out of the existing turmoil, if mid-term elections were held at the earliest. He said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz was protecting the Pakistan People’s Party government in the name of supporting the democratic process.
