Nisar notches Champion of Hills title

LAHORE – Nisar Ahmed of SSGC won the Champion of Hills Cycle Race from Islamabad to Murree on Sunday. He covered the distance of 70 KM in two hours and 12 minutes. As many as 64 cyclists from all over the country – four provinces, WAPDA Army, Railways. SSGC, Fata, Rawalpindi District and Afganistan took part in this race.
Director Army Sports Directorate Brig. Iqtidar Naseer Ahmed flagged off the race from Pakistan Sports Board Islamabad. Habibullah of SSGC got second position, Asad Mahmood (Army) third, Ismail Saees (Army) 5th Naimat Ali 5th and Sabir (SSGC) got sixth position.
The chief guest of closing ceremony was Director General Pakistan Sports Board Syed Amir Humza Shah Gilani who gave away cash prizes of Rs. 50000/- to the winners at Pakistan Sports Board Islamabad.
