QUETTA – Aman Etahad organised a walk on Saturday to promote peace in the province and demanded of the government to provide security to the citizens against terrorism and crimes in the country.
The walk started from Assembly Chowk and ended in front of the Quetta Press Club. The participants were carrying placards and chanted slogans for peace, recovery of missing persons, curbing abduction like arrests of Balochis and against the military operation in the province, besides urging the government to activate its agencies in quelling terrorism, abduction for ransom, crimes and target killing.
Lal Jan Baloch and Ali Mohammad in their speeches condemned the terrorism and target killing incidents on ethnic and sectarian basis and blamed the government agencies for being unable to maintain the law and order. They thanked the participants for their participation and urged the public to join hand with Aman Etahad for promoting peace in the area for their coming generations.
