Model-turned-anchor-turned-actor Purab Kohli is quite happy with the way his life is going as he says that he has never had any regrets. It is also said about him that he prefers off beat films to commercial, but Purab denies that, saying, “It is not like I am following a rule or something.
In fact, I would love to work in action flicks.” He adds that he has always been a Mumbai boy and that is how it happens in this city. It is a busy place, people don’t always have the time to catch up with old friends or spend time with their family, he says adding that often, workplace colleagues become your friends, and once that project is over, you hardly get the time to look back.
He is shy about his personal life, but says that like other actors, has no plans to try his hands at directing or producing a film. “I am at peace with what I am presently doing, which is acting. Rest, I will see where life takes me. “In his upcoming film “Turning 30”, which is a chick-flick, he had no issues working with the debut director Alankrita Shrivastava.
“I met her and the way she convinced me about the script, I was really excited about it, and she didn’t even know I wanted to do this film. But when she got to know, she was happy.”
