ISLAMABAD – Interior Affairs Minister Rehman Malik has said that the PPP-led government will complete its five-year tenure despite the fact that some elements are spreading continuously rumours about the fate of the central government.
Talking to reporters outside the Parliament House on Thursday, the Interior Affairs minister said that the government had taken various steps for proving relief to the people. The PPP would remove all reservations of its coalition partners, the Mutahidda Qaumi Movement and the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F).
To a question, he said that it was responsibility of all political parties to take part in progress and prosperity of the country. To another question, he said that there was no threat to the government and all allies would work jointly for the development of the country.
He said that the passage of 19th amendment was a great achievement of all the political parties and the nation. He said that democracy was strong in the country and that there was political maturity as every political party supported the democracy.
