LAHORE – Lahore Iqbal Town Division anti-Vehicles Lifting Staff (AVLS) on Tuesday claimed arresting notorious ringleader of the Tariq Javeed Shah car thief gang and recovered 13 cars, a tractor and motorcycle worth Rs 7.4 million from their possession.
The criminal confessed stealing 12 cars, one tractor and motorcycle from Lahore, two cars from Mirpur, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and five cars from Rawalpindi during preliminary interrogation.
According to details, police collected particulars of the Tariq Javeed Shah car thief gang and arrested its ringleader Tariq Javeed. Javeed, along with his accomplices, used to steal cars with help of master-keys and took them to Peshawar through the motorway, where they sold the vehicles at cheaper prices.
