LAHORE – Even if only one polio case exists in the country, threat of this menace will still remain for other children, speakers at the inaugural ceremony of a three-day National Anti-Polio Campaign held at the Children’s Hospital said on Monday.
The participants said eradication of polio was a collective responsibility of the government as well as society and all should work hard with dedication for this noble cause.
Member of the National Assembly Naseer Bhutta, Member of the provincial assembly (MPA) Hafiz Nauman, Dr Zamurd Yaseen, Punjab Health Director General Dr Aslam Chaudhry, WHO Medical Officer Dr Debra, Children’s Hospital Dean Professor Tahir Masood and Medical Director Dr Ahsan Waheed Rathore addressed the inaugural ceremony of the campaign beginning from today (Tuesday).
