LAHORE – Mobilink and Netsol won their matches of the 1st CPL Raaziq T20 cricket League here on Monday.
In the first match, Mobilink beat Ufone by 29 runs. Mobilink scored 154 for 6 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Ijaz Rafiq 69, Saqib Munir 30 and Jawad Tayyab 28 were the main batsmen.
Ahsan Zaidi took two wickets. In reply, Ufone scored 125 all out with Adeel Asghar 41, Sadeem Baig 26 and Aleem Rana 17 runs. Khalid Farooq & Tariq Durani took three wickets each. Ijaz Rafiq was declared the man of the match.
In the second match, Netsol beat Descon by four wickets. Descon scored 154 for seven in allotted 20 overs.
Hafiz Zahid 42, Yasir Butt 24, Sabir Nazir 23 and Shabbir Ahmed 23 not out were the main batsmen. Faraz Hassan took three wickets. In reply Netsol achieved the target for the loss of six wickets. Faraz Hassan 54 not out, Irfan Bashir 30 and Khalid Rehman 27 runs. Faraz Hassan was declared man of the match. Sohail Manzoor and Muhammad Kaleem supervised the match while Saboor Ahmed was the scorer.
