MUSCAT – Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani reached Muscat on Monday on a two-day visit and was warmly received at the Muscat International Airport.
On the airport, personal representative of the Sultan Assad bin Tariq al-Said received the PM while a contingent of Royal Oman Police presented a salute to him.
The PM will have an audience with the Sultan Qaboos bin Al-Said at the official retreat of Bait-al Barka Palace and hold talks with the Omani leaders on Tuesday.
National anthems of the two countries were played on this occasion and Gilani reviewed the guard of honour.
Prime Minister Gilani’s delegation includes Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Chief Minister Balochistan Nawaz Akbar Raisani, Minister for Ports and Shipping Babar Ghauri and Minister of State for Ports Nabil Gabol.
