PESHAWAR – Security forces on Saturday claimed killing more than 16 Taliban on the second consecutive day of military operation in Baizai and Alingar areas of Mohmand Agency.
Meanwhile, Taliban have also attacked another security forces’ checkpost in agency’s Badmani area, in which they claimed killing a number of security forces’ personnel. Official said the security forces succeeded in destroying several Taliban compounds with the help of helicopter gunships.
The clashes between the security forces and militants started on the night between Thursday and Friday when Taliban attacked five security forces’ checkposts. Authorities on Friday claimed killing of 24 militants and repulsing attacks.
They claimed that militants were hiding in the border regions and were slipping into Afghanistan during the military action. They claimed that these militants were getting assistance from across the border.
Now a day the situation of our country is so risky that there is no one who feels secure in their home land. Terrorist try to destroy our world which is now facing the lot of problems. Security forces try their best to secure them from the enemies.
