NBP dominate on opening day

LAHORE – Wapda managed to score 227 runs on the opening day of the 10th round of Quaid-e-Azam Trophy match against SNGPL here at the LCCA ground on Saturday.
Wapda reached the score in 63 overs and by the close of play SNGPL were playing at 25 with their two batsmen back to the pavilion in the 12th over.
For Wapda, Shoaib Maqsood and Alo Azmat were the saviours while Asad Ali and Yasir Shah shared four wickets.

Meanwhile at Gaddafi Stadium, National Bank of Pakistan took a first innings lead when it first bowled out HBL at 116 and then by the close of play scored 190 runs for eight wickets. Star of the day for NBP was Uzair-ul-Haq with figures of 4 for 33 while Mohammad Talha grabbed 3 wickets for 56. For HBL, Sajid Shah proved to be the pick of bowlers taking five wickets for 60 runs.
