DASKAL Five people were killed and another four injured when a train collided with a rickshaw near the Uggoki area of Sialkot district on Friday. The train was headed to Sialkot from Wazirabad when it hit the rickshaw trying to cross the un-gated railway crossing in Jalianwala area of Uggoki. The deceased were identified as rickshaw driver Muhmmad Iqbal, Arbab Bibi, Basit and Abass, while one body could not be identified. The bodies and the injured were taken to District Headquarter Hospital. There are as many as 150 railway crossings having no gates in Sialkot, a recipe for imminent disaster.
