PTI to go on hunger strike outside PA


LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab on Monday decided to observe a hunger strike in front of the Punjab Assembly to protest against inflation, lawlessness and Reformed General sales Tax (RGST) at 3 pm today. This was decided in a meeting held at the Punjab Secretariat of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf with PTI Punjab President Ahsen Rasheed in chair. The meeting was also attended by new party members Nadeem Abbas, Nasir Salim, and Rizwan Ahmed who joined PTI on Monday to contribute in the struggle for safeguarding the people rights.
Ahsen Rasheed, speaking at the occasion, said that the people of Pakistan were suffering the worst crisis as price hike and lawlessness had reached an alarming extent and the government was only befooling the people. PTI Punjab Vice President Amin Zaki said that influx of the new cadres in PTI was the evidence that people were looking towards PTI for salvation from the clutches of the evils. Barrister Mansoor Sarwar, Regional Organizer Dr Shahid Siddique, PTI information secretary and other party members were also present at the occasion.
