Thousands have been killed in Karachi due to ethnic and target or political killings in the last 20 years. No one can forget the carnage 2-3 years ago but no regular investigation took place due to political expediencies. Just a few days ago, the Interior Minister of Sindh publicly declared 60 target killers of Karachi (26 of them belonged to MQM) whom six premier intelligence agencies of Pakistan had authenticated.
I believe the public exposition will again be buried under the carpet of political expediency of ruling coalition in Sindh and Centre as it happened during 2007-2008 by Musharraf, and innocent will people continue to be killed.
I would, therefore, earnestly urge the esteemed Supreme Court of Pakistan to take suo moto notice of Mr Zulfikar Mirzas public exposition of target killers of Karachi and punish them accordingly. I would also request PML(N) and PML(Q) to join hands to nip the target killers in the bud who would unleash the bloodbaths if allowed to enter Punjab.
