LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Punjab on Monday summoned head of Pakistani chapter of Transparency International Adil Gilani to appear on December 23 to record his statement in National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) case.
FIA sources said that FIA investigators will include Adil Gilani in investigations after the disclosures by arrested nominated accused in NICL including former chairman NICL Ayyaz Khan Niazi.
Sources said Adil Gilani is being summoned as he had given a clean chit to NICL officials after signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Meanwhile, the FIA investigators will also present Ayyaz Khan Niazi in the court on Tuesday (today) to get his physical remand.
