LAHORE – The Muttahida Majlis-e-Ulema has appreciated the efforts of the Interior Ministry and Interior Minister Rehman Malik in ensuring foolproof security during Muharramul Haram.
A press statement said the special control room established by the interior minister in the National Crisis Management Cell, Ministry of Interior, and its sub-offices in Lahore, Karachi, Quetta and Peshawar did a commendable job in maintaining law and order.
The statement said the MMU also appreciated the role played by the Rangers and FC personnel in sensitive areas on the orders of the interior minister.
