LAHORE – Staffers of Edhi Foundation have claimed on Saturday to provided first aid service to 3325 injured mourners and hospitalized 55 on 9th and 10th of Muharram, while providing 24 hours Emergency Medical Cover to mourning processions in all the provincial capital.
According to Edhi officials, mourners who sustained injuries owing flagellate were provided with dressings and appropriate medicines while fifty five (55) mourners having severe injuries and deep cuts were shifted to hospitals after provision of first aid.
The leaves of all Edhi staffers were cancelled and they performed additional emergency duties in all districts of Punjab.
