LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has reiterated that industries in Punjab must be given equitable gas supply and threatened to stage mass protests in response to any discrimination against the province. He was speaking to a delegation of the business community. The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Wednesday lauded the chief minister’s stance. Punjab CM said Punjab is the most populous province and must be given its due share of national sources.
He ensured the delegation that he would raise the matter of gas supply restriction with the PM. On this occasion, FPCCI Vice President Hameed Akhtar Chadda said zero tolerance will be shown to the any provincial disparity in gas supply.
