Gwyneth Paltrow has confirmed she’s been left out of ‘The Avengers’ movie, insisting studio bosses “would have asked by now” if they wanted her to take part.
The upcoming superhero blockbuster, written and directed by Joss Whedon, will feature a star-studded cast with Robert Downey, Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk and Chris Hemsworth as Thor, while Samuel L Jackson will reprise his role as Nick Fury.
Paltrow has played Iron Man’s assistant and love interest Pepper Potts in two installments of the hit franchise, and she had been expected to make an appearance in ‘The Avengers’, but the Oscar-winner is convinced she has been left out of the cast. She tells, “No Pepper. I think it’s a for sure. I think they’re starting shooting soon.
They probably would have asked me by now.” The movie is set to begin shooting in February.
