Gilani telephones Saifullah, Kasuri


ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani telephoned former Foreign Affairs minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri and Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs Chairman Senator Salim Saifullah Khan, who also heads likeminded group of the Pakistan Muslim League-Q.
A private TV channel reported that the prime minister invited the likeminded group for a meeting at the PM House. After the telephone call, Salim Saifullah confirmed that Prime Minister Gilani invited him for a meeting.
Saifullah said that links between the government and the ppposition were inevitable for the stability of the democracy and democratic institutions in the country. He said that he welcomed the telephone call from the prime minister.
