Recently, in a news report it was mentioned that the third major source of terrorist funding is through private donations. This is an alarming fact because even after 10 years of fighting this war, we have been unable to clamp down on terrorist funding. It should be the top most priority for the officials to prevent these terror groups from getting their hands on these donations.
Any donation given by an individual should have a proper tracking procedure so it is made sure that it is not used for any wrong reasons. Secondly, the public should be made aware of the consequences that these radical groups may unleash on the basis of their donations. People sponsoring these terror groups for their own personal or political benefits should be brought to justice.
