Three murders reported, 41 vehicles stolen in capital

ISLAMABAD: As many as three murders and 41 cases of car lifting and robbery were reported in Islamabad, exposing the ‘high security arrangements’ by the capital police.
According to data gathered by Pakistan Today, last week, 21 incidents of car lifting and 20 cases of robbery and three murder cases were reported in the different police stations.
Industrial Area Police Station was on the top with four vehicles stolen two houses robbed. Similarly, carjackers took away four vehicles from the limits of Margalla Police Station and robbers robbed a house, during the last week.
Two vehicles were stolen and three incidents of robbery were reported in the limits of Shalimar Police Station.
Koral police registered one case of car lifting, four cases of robbery and one case of murder last week.
Shahzad Town Police Station registered one case of car lifting and three cases of robbery in last seven days. Three vehicles were stolen and a person was killed in the limits of Sabzi Mandi Police Station.
A person was killed and two incidents of robbery took place in Kohsar Police Station precincts, during the corresponding period.
Aabpara Police Station registered two cases of car lifting and a case of robbery last week. Meanwhile, robbers robbed two houses in Bara Kahu Police Station limits, during the same period.
