LAHORE: A two-year-old infant, Abdul Wasay of Angoori Bagh Scheme No.2, burnt alive on Sunday late night when boiling water fell on his body in the jurisdiction of the Baghbanpura police. Reportedly, the child, while playing in his home, went to the kitchen where he fell into a pot of boiling water. As a resultant, the infant sustained critical burn injuries. He was rushed to hospital where he died.
MINOR SODOMISED, KILLED: A 12-year-old boy was sodomised and killed in the precincts of Kot Abdul Malik police on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Waqar of Factory Area. As per details, Waqar went to fetch milk from a nearby shop. As he did not return, his parents informed the police who found his body from a wheat field adjacent to the factory area.
ADDICT FOUND DEAD: One Gulzar Ahmad, 45, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the wee hours of Sunday in the Ravi Road area. The deceased, a resident of Rahimyar Khan, came to Lahore several months ago to earn living, but became a drug addict. On the day of the incident, he took excessive dose of drugs and died near a hotel opposite to Bhati Chowk.
