LAHORE: Pakistan Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq has said that every member of the team has to give his hundred percent to win the series against New Zealand.
Talking to journalists here on the sidelines of the training camp, Misbah said that Pakistan have the ability to win against any team and they can beat New Zealand. He further stated that the opening combination used during the series against South Africa should not be changed, and also said he wanted to play in all formats of the game.
“I can play in all the three formats of the game and for that purpose I am keeping myself completely fit. “The series against News Zealand would help the team prepare for the next year’s World Cup,” he said. Misbah said that although the year 2010 was full of controversies, but the players have to concentrate on the game and move forward. “All of us are working hard under the supervision of Waqar Younis and Javed Miandad. Special emphasis is being laid on the fitness of the players,” he added. Misbah said that the Kiwis are not an easy team to handle and on their home ground they would be hard to beat, but that does not mean Pakistan cannot beat them.
