LAHORE: Provincial Planning and Development Board Chairman Javed Aslam has directed the Communication and works (C&W) department to complete the construction of Punjab University’s (PU) court complex near Jhelum within next four months. He was presiding over a meeting at the site of newly proposed PU campus located at 10-kilometers on the GT road from Jhelum on Monday.
PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran, Rawalpindi Division Commissioner Zahid Saeed, Education and Communication Provincial Secretaries Haseeb Athar and Major (r) Azam Suleman Khan, former MNA Raja Muhammad Afzal, Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Jamil Anwar, Registrar Prof Dr Muhammad Akhtar, Education Dean Prof Dr Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and Dr Mansoor Sarwar also attended the meeting.
P&D chairman informed the meeting that adequate funds were available for the construction of the incomplete buildings and the communication department should make full efforts to ensure their timely completion.
