ISLAMABAD: Senator Muhammad Khan Sherani of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) in his official capacity as chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) ordered his subordinate staff to switch to ‘Urdu’ from English language for official correspondence as he could not comprehend ‘English’ properly.
A source in the CII told Pakistan Today on Saturday Sherani had ordered his staff to draft summaries and official correspondence in ‘Urdu’. Sherani was appointed the 13th chairman of the because of political maneuvering of JUI-F chief Fazal-ur-Rehman.
