LAHORE: Sialkot on Friday stunned Faisalabad by 44 runs on the eighth day of the National Women’s Under-19 T20 Cricket Championship 2010-11, being played at the Lahore Country Club, Muridke. Batting first, Sialkot managed 110 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs. Iqra Rehmat and Nida Naseem shone with bat for Sialkot.
Faisalabad’s Marriam Shafiq and Sherish Arif took three and two wickets, respectively. Later, Sialkot restricted Faisalabad to just 66 runs and sent eight of their players back to the pavilion in the given overs. Uzma Younis (11) and Iram Shehzadi (10) were the were the only batswomen to reach double figures. Rabia Muzaffar, Iqra Rehmat and Saima Maqsood took two wickets each to ensure a comfortable win for Sialkot.
