LAHORE: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Rao Sardar Ali Khan visited processions and Majalis held in different areas of the provincial metropolis on Friday and checked the security arrangements. He visited a procession held in Islampura and Majalis held in Zaidi House Shah Jamal and Imambargah Qasre Abu Taalib, Shadman.
He directed the officials to remain alert during the month of Muharram to avert any untoward incident. He appealed to the participants of Majalis and processions to cooperate with police and inform Rescue 15 and other control rooms if they found anything or person suspicious.
