15 killed in Hangu suicide bomb blast

PESHAWAR: A suicide bomb attack near an under-construction hospital on the outskirts of Hangu in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa killed at least 15 people and injured several, private television channels reported on Friday.
Quoting Kohat Commissioner Khalid Omarzai and other police and security officials, the channels reported that the bomb exploded in explosion-laden vehicle. “We cannot say if it was a suicide attack. The blast took place near a hospital,” Kohat Commissioner Khalid Omarzai said soon after the blast.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain condemned the blast and said that the terrorists were regrouping in different areas, but effective measures were being taken to tackle them. To a question, he said that the security forces had been chasing terrorists across the country to finish them off.
