PESHAWAR: Six suspected militants were killed and several injured when US drones fired missiles on a vehicle and a shop at two different places in Khysore village, near North Waziristan’s Mirali town, on Monday.
The reports from Mir Ali said that a US drone fired missiles at a vehicle, killing three militants and wounding another two. The dead bodies and injured were shifted to an unknown place.
In another attack, a drone fired two missiles on a shop that killed three men. Taliban militants cordoned off the site soon after the incident. Locals said the dead and injured militants included foreigners and Al Qaeda members.
It was the first attack that took place in December, while in previous months several drone attacks killed hundreds of local and foreign militants.
